Due to legitimacy claims, copyright issus and felony convictions, the true identity of WAFU's funding empire may never be known. What is indispituable fact however, this new endeavor has multiple points of origin. All of which ultimately lead to a place called Broken City - where the first WAFU-sanctioned event is scheduled to occur.

The presiding forces of WAFU have organized an 8-man bracket of only the finest Modern Day Warriors. Do not be suprised to see some familiar faces, even though they may be cloaked in the veil of Internet secrecy or operating uner assumed aliases. For forever the Feds are watching. What you are about to see is real, without literary embellishment.

Each of these 8 men carries with him unique characteristics and abilities that qualify him for WAFU competition. For some, it is a lifetime's worth of training... for others a simple way of life. Either way, the competitive fire within each one is enough to scorch the average man. They represent every facet of culture on Earth, every arcane ritual of martial combat. These men are the ELITE 8.

Eight will begin. Only one will be crowned Undisputed WAFU WORLD CHAMPION. In the middle, WAFU WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS will also be determined. If the demand is great enough, there may be interest in crowning a secondary set of champions as well (for the WAFU country of origin the United States). Depending upon talent level, iniative and funding. In the interim, construction has begun on the Broken City Rec House (a small abandoned warehouse in Broken City which will be converted into a covert arena for WAFU-sponsored events). Architects have set the completion date for late 2010. Proper documentation (which includes forgery, fake passports and international smuggling) is being issued for all 8 of the tourney competitors as we speak.

WORLD ACTION FIGURE UNDERGROUND

Unnamed sources have organized an underground fighting spectacle entitled "WAFU".

Originally based out of Broken City MA State, this new organization puts a premium on no-holds barred extreme grappling contests - immune from weight limits and rules restrictions - truly testing the best fighters in the world.

The organization has forged a triple set of tighmaevril championship belts - one for Singles and two for Tag Team - and have arranged for the Stateside arrival of the "ELITE 8" - a hand selected group of the 8 best underground fighters in the world.

These 8 men will compete for the first WAFU WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Tag Team champions will also be determined.
